Ski Area Dachstein-West
The "Dachstein-West" ski area gives you access to 142 km of diverse pistes. Numerous ski areas in the Dachstein region and in Salzkammergut, such as Dachstein-West, Abtenau, Feuerkogel and the Freesports Arena Krippenstein can be used. Beginners, intermediates and not forgetting pros will all find the appropriate descent. However wide, easy to intermediate level pistes amid dense winter forests are typical to this region. The free ski buses ensure an easy transfer between the different resorts in the Dachstein-West region and enable you to get to all the highlights trouble free. These include of course the difficult "Alexandra-Meissnitzer" descent in Abtenau and the "Zinken Steilhang" in Roßfeld. A very popular destination for snowboarders is the funpark with jumps, rails and tables at the Hornspitz mountain station. Freestylers really get their moneys worth here!
