High levels of snow, up to 860 kilometres of piste for beginners and experts, modern lift systems and diverse apres-ski are all aspects that distinguish the Salzburger Sports World. Boarders will find two fun parks with extras there, cross-country skiers have a total of 220 km of challenging trails available to them, which are on the whole interlinked. In the heart of Salzburger Land, in the middle of Austria's largest ski area, lies Filzmoos. Surrounded by fairytale winter landscapes it offers an amazing view of Filzmoos' landmark, the Bischofsmütze. The highest and by far most attractive mountain in Gosaukamm is particularly popular with climbers. The resort has a very good infrastructure and offers a varied leisure programme off the piste. A good tip is the the restaurant Hubertus- where the chef of the year 1996 who is also the only 4 crested chef in Europe, will cook you a variety of typical regional specialities!
