Ski Area Salzburger Sportwelt
With the lift pass “Ski amadé” you have access to an unbelievable 860 km of piste, as well as 270 lifts in Austria’s largest ski area (see ski region)! The Salzburger Sportwelt is located in the centre of “Ski Amadé” and meets all the requirements for a great skiing holiday! In the Salzburger Sportwelt alone, there are 350 km of piste and 94 lift systems at altitudes between 650 and 2,200 m available. The sprawling ski links Kleinarl/Flachauwinkl/Zauchensee and Flachau/Wagrain/St. Johann are the top destinations in the network and owe their notoriety to such events as the Alpine Ski World Cup in Flachau. Families, beginners and cross-country skiers will find suitable areas, whereas the pros will be drawn to Zauchensee.
Diverse funparks await boarders, e.g. the Absolut Park in Flachauwinkl, which offers everything a boarder's heart desires: rail combos, half-pipe, jib park, the "chill house" and numerous events. First-class deep snow territory can be found on Monte Popolo or around the Zauchensee. With its opportunities, the Salzburger Sportwelt sets winter sports standards.
