skiing Fügen - pure skiing fun in Ziller Valley!
Ziller Valley, secretly called the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 650 kilometres of piste, 170 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all 650 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys. The valleys are all perfectly connected with the free ski bus, which allows you to fully enjoy the pistes. Fügen - pure skiing fun in Ziller Valley!Fügen is the largest and most popular resort in the lower Ziller Valley and offers a long history and an impressive piece of culture. The well-known Christmas song "Silent Night, Holy Night" originates from here, and the historic chapels and churches, the local museum, the exhibition cheese dairy and many more facilities give the resort a multifaceted appearance. The narrow alleyways in the old town centre invite you to stroll and linger with all its beautiful shops, restaurants and bars. The free ski bus takes you comfortably to the valley station of the ski area Spieljoch and Hochfügen-Zillertal. The ski area has a total of 183 km of piste to offer. Those who still have enough energy after a day of skiing, can enjoy themselves alongside the piste, in the valley stations or in the resort itself. Fügen has everything to offer: Let it be a romantic ski hut, funky umbrella bar or a cosy restaurant! The resort also offers a diverse programme for leisure time activities off piste, for instance with ice skating rinks, toboggan runs, romantic horse drawn sledge rides and snowshoe hikes. A special highlight is the "Erlebnistherme Zillertal", a spa and swimming pool complex, with various slides, children's and baby pool and a modern spa and sauna area.
