Ziller Valley, secretly called the "most active valley in the world", is situated right in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps directly bordering South Tyrol. 640 kilometres of piste, 169 lifts and snow security to 3,250 m are all included in the Ziller Valley ski area and make it the top Alpine ski area destination! The Ziller Valley ski area with its 163 kilometres of piste is the most extensive ski area in Ziller Valley. With the perfect connection of the “Wilde Krimml” to the outskirts of Gerlospass visitors will find the Zillertal Arena, in the centre of a generous interconnected ski area which can fulfil the wishes of every skier. The Isskogel gondola offers the perfect entry into the ski area. The idyllic resort Krimml is situated at 1,076 m in the upper Gerlos Valley. Unlike Gerlos and Zell, Krimml is located in Oberpinzgau and, therefore, in Salzburger Land instead of Tyrol. It impresses guests with its pristine nature and excellent ski opportunities, and its beautiful pistes, modern lifts and idyllic winter hiking trails make this winter holiday quite an experience. Krimml is especially known for the romantic Krimml waterfalls, which are lit spectacularly in the evening and are a must for every holiday maker.
