skiing Heiligenblut - holiday pleasure for old & young!
At the end of the Möll Valley, in the national park Hohe Tauern, lies Heiligenblut, surrounded by 40 threethousander peaks. This is where the first ascent of the Großglockner started out from, which at 3,798 m is the highest mountain in Austria. Even today the region is regarded as the cradle of alpinism. Due to its height (1,300 - 2,900 m) and its location on the main chain of the Alps, the Heiligenblut ski region guarantees snow security until far into the spring. The intermediate runs make the region an ideal holiday destination for sporty skiers and families alike.
