This resort (1,400 m), which is well-known for its particularly impressive apres ski, distinguishes itself as a winter paradise, due to its ski area and the Silvretta arena. At an altitude of 1,377 - 2872m, it offers something for every winter sports fan. For the snow boarders there is a snowboard park, for the experts a total of 238 kilometres of piste, a large fun park for snowboarders and 74 kilometres of cross-country track for cross-country skiers. Ischgl is practically traffic free, as visitors are encouraged to use the pedestrian tunnels, where a moving walkway transports you from one side of the village to the other. But after all that fun on the slopes, Ischgl offers many other activities, in which to spend your day. Whether in a spa, cafe or restaurant, there's always somewhere to relax.
