Ziller Valley, secretly called the “most active valley in the world“, is situated right in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps directly bordering South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 639 kilometres of piste, 167 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass", included in the holiday price, is valid for all 639 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys, which are all perfectly connected with the free ski bus. Kaltenbach - fun skiing for everyone in the Ziller Valley!
Kaltenbach, together with Ried and Stumm, is positioned in the heart of the Ziller Valley. Kaltenbach is the largest and best known among them. Due to the ring road it is not troubled too much with traffic. The small and quieter village of Ried is right at the border of Kaltenbach. Stumm, on the opposite side of the valley, is just 500 m from the cable car and offers a special flair and has what might be the most beautiful village square of Tyrol. All three districts have a modern tourist infrastructure with, for example, indoor pools and various recreational attractions. Numerous restaurants offer regional specialities like traditional "Kasspatzen" pasta with cheese, homemade apple strudel and "Kaiserschmarrn" sugared pancakes with raisins.
