skiing Kaltenbach - optimal skiing in Ziller Valley!
Ziller Valley, secretly called the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 650 kilometres of piste, 170 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all 650 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys. The valleys are all perfectly connected with the free ski bus, which allows you to fully enjoy the pistes. Kaltenbach - optimal skiing in Ziller Valley!Kaltenbach, together with Ried and Stumm, is positioned in the heart of the Ziller Valley. Kaltenbach is the largest and best known among them. Due to the ring road, thorough-traffic doesn't exist here. The small and quieter village of Ried is right on the border of Kaltenbach. Stumm, on the opposite side of the valley, is approx. 1.5 km from the cable car and offers a special flair and has what might be the most beautiful village square of Tyrol. All three districts have a modern tourist infrastructure with, for example, indoor pools and various recreational attractions. Numerous restaurants offer regional specialities like traditional "Kasspatzen" pasta with cheese, home-made apple strudel and "Kaiserschmarrn" sugared pancakes with raisins.
