Ziller Valley, referred to as "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol, bordering South Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps to the south. The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all 650 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys. The romantically situated mountain village of Königsleiten is not a part of Tirol, as Gerlos and Zell are, but rather a part of Salzberger Land. At 1,600 m, Königsleiten is the highest village in the Ziller Valley Arena, and provides especially quick entrance to the ski area.
