Ziller Valley, secretly called the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol with the Ziller Valley Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 650 kilometres of piste, 170 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all 650 km in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys. The idyllic resort Krimml is situated at 1,076 m in the upper Gerlos Valley. Unlike Gerlos and Zell, Krimml is located in Oberpinzgau and, therefore, in Salzburger Land instead of Tyrol. It impresses guests with its pristine nature and excellent ski opportunities, and its beautiful pistes, modern lifts and idyllic winter hiking trails make this winter holiday quite an experience. Krimml is especially known for the romantic Krimml waterfalls, which are lit spectacularly in the evening and are a must for every holiday maker. Whether a horse carriage ride, toboggan party or winter walk along the Krimmler Ache, you won't be bored! The calm resort also offers a good entryway into the Ziller Valley ski area, with a total of 163 km of piste and 50 lifts.
