Ramsau is a true cross-country El Dorado! 150 km of trails at an altitude of 1,100 - 2,700 m offer something for every taste! There are flat circuits for beginners, strongly variable skating trails for the advanced, through to high-altitude trails where the world's elite meet. The World Cup cross-country skiing stadium of the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1999 is in Ramsau, with a ski jump and floodlit trail. The annual Ramsau fun run takes place on the 30 km long Dachstein trail. The highligh in any case is the 16 km long glacial trail on the Dachstein Glacier at an altitude of 2,700 m. In total, the region offers 350 km of trails -- the selection is seemingly endless!!
