Hotel Matschner

The family-run 4-star Hotel Matschner is located in the heart of Ramsau am Dachstein, just 50 m from the ski bus stop. The ski area Rittisberg is just 2.5 km away, and the Dachstein Glacier about 9 km away. A beginners/kids' piste is about 80 m from the hotel, and access to the cross-country trails is possible just 200 m away. The comfortable accommodation includes a cosy lobby with winter garden, wifi (incl.), restaurant, hotel bar, lift, and ski/ski boot room. The hotel has its own entrance to the ''Ramsauer Swim Paradise,'' a 600 m² facility including an indoor pool with sport pool (25 x 12 m), relaxation pool, and kids' pool; all can be used free of charge. Also included is the use of sauna facilities: herbal and Finnish saunas, fog grotto, and steam bath as well as aroma cabin, thermal benches, relaxation area, and outdoor terrace. For a fee, solarium, massages, jacuzzi, and relaxarium can be used/booked. The entertainment programme at the accommodation (i.e. torch-lit hikes, ski hut nights, snow-shoe hikes, cross-country trip, or curling) is included (transport payable locally). Free parking is available as well as a paid parking garage.

Furnishing/Board
The rooms are bright and cheerfully arranged, including bath or shower/wc, cable TV, telephone, radio, safe (incl.), wifi (payable locally), hair drier, and balcony. The included half board PLUS is made up of a large breakfast buffet with organic corner and fresh juices, an afternoon snack with coffee and cake buffet (14:30-17:30) and evening meal with appetizer and salad bar, 4-course meal with choice, and sometimes dessert buffet. On 24.12 a Christmas meal is served with festive music; on New Year's Eve, a gala with live music and dancign is offered. (incl.)
