Ski Region Ski amadé
The lift pass ''Ski amadé'' makes a total of 860 km of pistes and 270 lifts and cable cars between 600 and 2,700 m available for your discovery. It includes the Salzburger Sportworld, Schladming-Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig, and Großarltal--5 regions and 25 ski resorts! With this excellent selection of pistes of all levels of difficultly, both beginners and experts alike will find their El Dorado. Even the pros will head toward the ski area: in January 2012, the Parallel Slalom of the FIS Snowboard World Cup will take place in Gastein, and in March 2012, the finale of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup will be held in Schladming, which is one fo the venues for the Ski World Cup in 2013. Over 4,500 snow cannons take care to ensure sufficient snow security. Internet fans among the skiers can experience something new--because at over 250 points in the ski area, you'll find free wifi hotspots.
