Ski holidays Schlitters – Winter sports fun at your doorstep!

Schlitters

Right at the entrance of Zillertal, at an altitude of 548 m, lies Schlitters. The history-rich village is one of the oldest in Zillertal and is not just a visually romantic picturebook holiday destination. The family-friendly holiday village counts, with its approx. 1,500 residents, as one of the smaller villages in the valley, but thanks to its Apline surroundings, has a latge variety of leisure activities to offer. Trudging with snowshoes through the landscape, tobogganing, cross-country skiing, or in a café on the Schlitterer See and enjoying the beaming winter sun - all is part of the programme here. Neighbouring areas by Schlitters include the ski centre Fügen, where you can directly access the ski area Hochzillertal-Hochfügen. The free ski bus, as well as the Zillertal train, connects the valley destinations and ski centres seamlessly. Worth recommending is a day trip to the adventure-thermal bath Zillertal - a paradise for water lovers. For night owls, Fügen and Kaltenbach are also worth checking out.

Zillertal

Zillertal, sometimes referred to as the "most active valley in the world", is situated in the heart of Tyrol in the Zillertal Alps, directly on the border with South Tyrol. The relatively flat valley is full of possibilities! 542 kilometres of piste, 180 lifts, and snow security at 3,250 m – welcome to Ziller Valley! The "Zillertaler Superskipass" is valid for all km of piste in the Ziller, Gerlos, and Tux valleys and at the Wildkogel. The valleys are all perfectly connected with the free ski bus, which allows you to fully enjoy the pistes.
