Cross-country Scheffau
There are approximately 83 km of cross-country ski trails around the Wilder Kaiser area. On account of the various stretches and degrees of difficulty, all skiers will find what they are looking for. The widely spread trail network leads through sun-drenched valleys and offers access to the trails in St. Johann and Kitzbühel. Scheffau alone has a total of 5 km of cross-country trails, which wind through the romantic, wintry nature. The stretch from Brixen to Westendorf is particularly beautiful. Altogether Brixen provides 15 km of trail, amongst those the 4 km high-altitude run near Hochbrixen. Ellmau offers an additional 13.5 km of cross-country skiing, of which the Kaiserloipe is the longest at 10 km. On top of that, you can easily access the 225 km long Koasa track from Ellmau for extra fun! A special highlight is the cross-country ski centre in Angerberg/Mariastein which offers you 40 km of perfectly prepred trails, located peacefully and including a night trail. Söll provides 24.5 great kilometres of trail with impressive panoramic views.
