Nestled in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps lies the picturesque resort Brixental. Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser/Brixental forms the largest connected ski area in Austria. Equipped with the most modern snow machines, this resort ensures high levels of snow. 279 kilometres of piste, 91 cable ways and lifts, an ample selection of leisure activities, as well as over 70 restaurants and après ski bars offer you unlimited fun and entertainment. The SkiWelt has even been elected the "Ski Resort Service International" in 2009! With an upgrade to the "Kitzbüheler Alpen All-Star-Card" lift pass you will have access to 1,081 km of piste, where fun is guaranteed! Going - skiing fit for a king!
At the foot of the Astberg (1,267 m), surrounded by the Kitzbüheler Alps in the south, as well as the Wilder Kaiser in the North, is Going (796 m). The typically Tyrolean village has retained its special charm and invites you to relax. The Wilder Kaiser towers majestically over the resort, and some claim that the mountain range is at its loveliest here. Skiers will find a tremendous range of pistes on the mountain ridge from Astberg to Hohe Salve. The Going village church, dominating the townscape, is one of the loveliest rococo churches in Austria. A further highlight in Going: The famous Stanglwirt not only entices the in-crowd from Munich and Vienna, but is mainly known for its "Weißwurst" parties.
