skiing Hopfgarten - skiing fit for a king!
Nestled in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps lies the picturesque resort Brixental. Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser/Brixental forms the largest connected ski area in Austria. Equipped with the most modern snow machines, this resort ensures high levels of snow. 279 kilometres of piste, 91 cable ways and lifts, an ample selection of leisure activities, as well as over 70 restaurants and après ski bars offer you unlimited fun and entertainment. The SkiWelt has even been elected the "Ski Resort Service International" in 2009 and 2010! With an upgrade to the "Kitzbüheler Alpen All-StarCard" lift pass you will have access to 1,085 km of piste in 7 ski areas, where fun is guaranteed! Hopfgarten - skiing fit for a king!At the foot of the Hohe Salve (1,829 m) stretches one of the sunniest resorts in the Kitzbühel Alps, the market community of Hopfgarten (620 m). You won't find mass tourism here; rather, a resort which has retained its identity and welcomes its guests with good old hospitality. The traditional resort centre highlights this identity with its narrow, stony pubs and magnificent baroque church with its two steeples, the landmark of Hopfgarten. Entertainment off-piste can be had at the various leisure centres, such as toboggan runs, ice rinks or spa facilities in the Salvena Culture and Leisure Centre. As it is only one hour by car from Munich, Salzburg and Innsbruck, Hopfgarten is easily reached by bus, car and train even during times of heavy snow.
