Cross-country Oberndorf
Cross-country fans are at the right spot in Oberndorf! 160 km of prepared trails for all skill levels, 115 km of which are in skating style, are found around Oberndorf, Erpendorf, Kirchdorf and St. Johann. The Hinterkaiser trail is the longest stretch at 32 km, and is only suitable for skiers with good stamina. A high-altitude trail can be found at Kirchdorf: the 10 km long Kaiserbachtal trail runs up to 1,024 m! A highlight for all cross-country fans is the annual Koasa run, where 1,000 participants from all around the world tackle a stretch of up to 50 km. One great advantage is the Koasa Stadium with a cross-country school and equipment hire, changing rooms and showers, making this a favourite starting point for many cross-country skiers.
