Location/Facilities- The 4-star Alpine Resort Schwebebahn is located ideally on a sunny plateau, just above Zell am See and directly at the valley station of the Schmittenhöhe lift. The ski bus which takes you to the approx. 2 km distant centre of Zell am See and to Kaprun, stops approx. 100 m away. The comfortable hotel offers a reception, spacious hotel lobby with wifi (incl.), lift, restaurant, sociable hotel bar, fireplace with sitting facilities, library with reading room, day bar with sun terrace, hotel-own umbrella bar, as well as ski room and heated ski boot drier. Use of the indoor pool (08:00 - 21:00) with massage jets, as well as the sauna complex (15:00 - 19:30) with Finnish sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, relaxation room and solarium is included. For the little ones from 3 years, there is the "Alpine Kids Club" (Sun - Fri) with children's entertainment programme (approx. 3 - 4 h). Free parking spaces are also available (based on availability).
Furnishing/Board
The country-style furnished rooms offer a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, telephone, radio, hair drier, and some also have a balcony. The holiday price already includes half-board PLUS and comprises a rich breakfast buffet (warm & cold), an après ski snack and/or cake (except Saturdays), a 4-course evening meal with choice of main dish (3 dishes to choose from) with salad buffet and diverse starter or dessert buffet. On several occasions per week there are various themed buffets, e.g. a farmer's buffet with zither music, Italian evening or fondue evening. The Christmas dinner, as well as the New Year's Eve gala and midnight buffet are also included in the price.
