Bruck is situated on Großglockner Str. between Zell Lake and the Großglockner Massif, on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park in the southern part of Salzburger Land. The ideal winter sports resort is distinguished by its proximity to the Zell am See/Kaprun ski area, with its two ski centres. Bruck became well-known due to the Großglockner high alpine road, which starts here with kilometre "0". The cosy resort offers visitors various restaurants and lodges, as well as a diverse selection of leisure time activities. The scene is constantly dominated by snowy peaks of the Kitzsteinhorn (3,203 m) and the Großglockner (3,798 m).
