Hotel Tauern Spa Kaprun

The newly built 4-star thermal resort hotel Tauern Spa Kaprun is located wonderfully between Zell am See and Kaprun. The resort centre of Kaprun is located approx. 500 m away and the Areit gondola is approx. 4 km away. A ski bus stop is approx. 10 m from the accommodation and there is also a free shuttle service with operates directly from the hotel. The comfortable hotel's facilities include a reception, lobby with open fireplace, restaurant, dining hall, bar, café, lounge, reading room, TV room, parlour, Internet corner and wifi (free), wine cellar, as well as a terrace. The holiday price also includes the use of the 20,000 m² large exclusive SPA area with following facilities: SPA water and sauna complex with approx. 2,100 m² of water space with indoor and outdoor pools,incl. active/sports pool, saline pool, various themed pools, sauna experience with various aroma vaporisation sessions, various saunas with indoor and outdoor areas (steam baths, conservatory relaxation area, some textile saunas, jacuzzi, heated outdoor pool, Kneipp baths, sauna garden, sauna bar). In the Hotel Panorama SPA there is further a reserved spa area on the upper floor only for hotel guests with a wonderful panorama view, glass pool, skyline pool, chill-out area, 2 panorama saunas (Alderhorst and Almwiese), steam bath, fireplace lounge with free refreshments, etc. There is also a separate children's area with various indoor and outdoor pools with slides to the spa area. If paid locally the solarium and the beauty and spa treatments can be booked in resort. For children there is a childcare service available in the thermal bath area for children which are nappy-free until incl 12 years, between 12:00 and 20:00 p.m. There is also a multimedia room for kids with videos, Playstation, children's cinema, etc. Free parking or a garage parking space is available, based on availability.

Furnishing/Board
The comfortable rooms and suites all have a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, radio, telephone, Internet access (incl.), safe, hair drier, sitting corner, mini bar, bathrobe and slippers, as well a balcony or terrace. The already included half-board comprises a welcome drink, breakfast buffet (possible in bathrobe dress in the SPA restaurant) and a 5-course evening meal with choice of 3 dishes and salad buffet. On various evenings during the week there are themed evenings or buffets organised. A vitamin present awaits you on the room, as well as non-alcoholic drinks from the mini bar, and teas and juices are also included throughout the whole day in the Hotel SPA . On Christmas (payable locally) and New Year's Eve (incl.) special 6- and 7-course gala dinners are offered with live music. On 01/01/2013 a New Year's Brunch is organised.
Attention: In the hotel restaurant formal dress is required. T-shirts, shorts, track suits, bathrobes and slippers are not permitted.
