The Ziller Valley may not be famous for its cross-country skiing facilities – but a visit is still worthwhile! Together with Gerlos, Zell am Ziller offers 25 km of tracks, amongst those 5 km are suitable for skating. The "Bräufeld" trail in Zell offer an easy level of skiing on 6 km length, which is ideal for beginners. The 200 km the region provides also include the 12 km high-altitude trail on the Gerlosplatte near Krimml (at 1,655 m). Also easily accessible is the 200 km trail "Pinzgau-Loipe" – a dream come true for all cross-country skiing fans!
