Ski Area Bansko
The "Bansko Ski Area" is one of the most famous and modern winter sports centres in Eastern Europe. The area combines 14 ski lifts and diverse pistes with a total length of 70 km, and goes up to an altitude of 2,560 m. The ski area is divided into three stations, which are connected by the pistes. The "Shiligarnika" station can be comfortably reached from the peak over gentle runs. From there, winter sports enthusiasts can take the 3- or 4-person chair lift up to the peak again or the ski route to the "Chalin valog" middle station. The third station, "Bunderishka polyana" can be reached by the "Shiligarnika" station over a long valley run. Thanks to the high rate of snowfall, the "Bansko Ski Area" has Bulgaria's longest ski season, from 15th December - 15th May. 100% of the pistes are equipped with snow canons that ensure the season can be extended. For variety, take advantage of the natural jumps and free-riding opportunities below the Todorka Peak. Pro skiers will love the black piste called Alberto Tomba.
