Cross-country Špindlerův Mlýn (Spindler´s Mill)

Cross-country skiers will feel as if they were in paradise in Spindler's Mill: a network of 100 km well prepared and daily tended tracks awaits skiers here! From the chair lift stations you can easily reach the tracks on the Plàn Plateau, as well as the more challenging routes over the comb of the mountain. Those who are fit enough should not miss out on the 30 km route along the comb of the Giant Mountains! This track begins in Janské Lázné and passes by Pec and Spinderl's Mill until you reach Harrachov, from which you have access to the tracks in Poland just behind the border. The impressive panorama can be enjoyed when turning into the typical "Bauden". The tour around Spinderl's Mill, starting in Medvedín via Zlaté návrší (Golden Heights) up to the Plán Plateau is very popular: this 25 km route takes you through lovely landscapes exclusively above the timber line. More tracks can be found in the Horní Mísecky area, including some racing and skating tracks.
