Ski Area Alpe d'Huez grand domaine Ski
With the "Grande Galaxie" lift pass you have access to the Alpe d'Huez ski area, which is mainly on the south/southwest side of the mountain and guarantees a lot of sunshine. The 237 kilometres of piste and the 82 lifts (1,120 m-3,330 m) are very snow sure: 80% of the pistes lie above 1,800 m! The most spectacular piste, the "Sarenne", starts at the Sarenne Glacier and runs through a tunnel to the face of the Pic Blanc, and from there steeply down into the valley. At 16 km, this is one of the longest pistes in Europe! Also just for the advanced is the 3 km long, deep-black steep descent "Tunnel" from Pic Blanc. Beginners will find perfect practice slopes on the outskirts of Alpe d'Huez and Vaujany. Snowboarders are looked after marvellously here as well: The fun park at the Sarenne Glacier is recommended for pros only, while two further fun parks are comparatively easier. The lift pass is valid for two days in Les 2 Alpes (40 km), as well as one day in Serre-Chavalier (85 km), and Puy St. Vincent (105 km) respectively. This means you have a selection of more than 550 kilometres of piste!
When booking the "Ski+" lift pass, you additionally have the possibility to access the swimming pool in Vaujany and Alp d'Huez, the ice rink, as well as further facilities in the Palais des Sports for free. Further you can also go night skiing and night tobogganing.
