skiing Les Sybelles – fun for the whole family in one of France's largest ski regions!
"Les Sybelles" in Savoie is France's fourth largest ski region and comprises of a six ski area network. Some of these ski areas were especially conceived for winter sports purposes, whereas others developed over time from mountain villages. This variety is expressed in the 310 kilometres of piste (1,550 - 2,620 m), which pose a challenge for all abilities of skiers, however form predominantly red pistes. Les Sybelles is particularly family-friendly and provides a multitude of child care facilities and kids' ski schools, and has even been awarded the well-known French rating of "Famille Plus". To round off the offering, there is great deep snow areas here. However, this resort has something to offer off the piste as well. Alongside winter hiking trails and cross-country, this mountain landscape can be explored by dog-sled ride or snow-shoeing. Those needing an adrenalin rush, can seek their kicks by taking part in activities, such as paragliding, kite-flying or skidooing.
