Welcome to "Les 3 Vallées," the famous "Three Valleys," the largest linked ski area in the world! At an altitude of 2,300 m above sea level, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe. The village itself is practically located "on the piste", allowing you to simply ride through the centre of the resort. Due to its great snow record, skiing into May is rarely a problem. The greatest meeting point for well-deserved aprés ski is the large sun terrace in front of the legendary Le Monde. The newly opened night sledding run, as well as the bowling centre, offer every sports fan interesting possibilities to let off steam. Snowmobiling is also a popular activity in Val Thorens.
