Ski Area Galibier-Thabor
With the lift pass "Valmeinier" you have the choice between 33 lifts and 85 pistes with a total length of 150 km. The ski resorts Valmeinier 1500, Valmeinier 1800 and Valloire comprise the fifth-largest ski region in Savoy (lift pass distribution only in Valmeinier). Endless snowy slopes with dreamy pistes for carving and skiing spread out above the mountain village of Valmeinier at Les Gros Crey. The largely undeveloped slopes on the opposite side offer fantastic opportunities for deep-snow skiing. Snowboarders will find a daily-prepared snow park with a half-pipe and a boarder cross section at Crey du Quart near Valloire. The ski region's altitude (70% lie above 2,000 m) and 400 snow-making machines ensure the highest degree of snow-reliability. Orelle, located just 18 km from Valmeiner, offers the perfect entry to the Val Thorens ski region, the centre of Les 3 Vallées. This day trip to the largest ski region in the world should not be passed up!
