The region Sondrio is found in Lombardy and astounds with its varied landscape. The panorama view from the peak of the local mountains or the Forni glacier is very impressive. The many vineyards and the surrounding hillside area invite guests to take a romantic walk through the lovely winter landscape. Numerous nature reserves guarantee an impressive natural spectacle. Particularly lovely is the Stelvio National Park. Here, beneath the Ortler mountains and the "Alta Valtellina" ski area, three valleys meet: the Valdidentro, Valfurva with Santa Caterina, and Valdisotto. Livigno is known, above all, as a customs- and tax-free shopping paradise. Whether culture, sport or relaxation - guests get their money's worth in Sondrio. Bormio - skiing on world-class pistes
Bormio, one of the most renowned wintersports resorts in Italy, is situated closely to Switzerland at the foot of the Stilfserjochs. The over 2000 year old health resort is situated at a basin valley between the majestic mountains of the Ortler group. Bormio is particularly well-known as the venue for the alpine ski world championship in 1985 and 2005. In addition, the world cup race at the famous "Stelvio" descent takes place here between Christmas and New Year's. Not just experts will get their money's worth in Bormio, all abilities are sure to enjoy the skiing, due to the broad slopes above the treeline. Bormio is a very lovely resort, which is heavily influenced by tradition. With its nine spring sources and the thermal bath, it offers pure relaxation. At the same time, however it is abuzz with life: a large winter sport offering with the ski area directly at the resort, the picturesque old town with cosy pubs, cafes and small shops, museums, theatres and cinemas, or for nature lovers the large Stilfser National Park - there is something for everyone here!

The districts Bormio, Valdidentro and Santa Caterina include 106 piste kilometres and 38 ski lifts. Due to the high altitude (1,225 – 3,012 m) and several snow-making devices you can expect ultimate winter fun and guaranteed snow.
