The Paganella Massif soars above the Etsch Valley, from altitudes between 1,040 - 2,125 m. The highest peak at 2,125 m offers a breathtaking 360° panorama view from Lake Garda in the south to the Dolomites in the north. With a total of 52 kilometres of primarily intermediate piste, Paganella is especially popular among families with children. Contrary to many Austrian ski areas, guests in Paganella enjoy, above all, Italian serenity and cosy lodges inviting skiers in for a cup of cappuccino. From Paganella, visitors can easily reach Trient, the old episcopal city and capital of Trentino. There guests can visit the Romanesque cathedral and the Castello del Buonconsiglio with its museums, or stroll leisurely through the many boutiques and shops. Contrary to the large Alpine ski centres, Andalo showcases itself to its guests. Here guests can enjoy Italian serenity and dolce vita and spend time in one of the traditional cafe-bars over a cup of cappuccino. The lively resort is situated at 1,040 m to the west of Paganella and directly in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. The steep cliff soars up near the Brenner motorway, behind which the Paganella ski area is found. From Andalo skiers can use cable car and chair lift to reach the Paganella peak (2,125 m), where interesting runs for all skill levels start. Formerly composed of 14 farms, the resort offers its guests a large sport centre with football field, ice rink, riding hall, tennis courts, climbing wall and indoor pool, as well as many hotels in all categories. Various restaurants and lodges spoil your taste buds and strengthen you for the next day on the piste.
