skiing Canazei - fantastic Dolomites!
Val di Fassa is located in the southwest part of the Dolomites in Trentino and borders on to South Tyrol. The idyllic valley is dominated by some of the most famous Dolomite peaks, such as the Catinaccio group (2,983 m), the Langkofel (3.181 m), the mighty Sella group and the impressive Marmolada glacier (3,342 m). The small Avisio river meanders through the valley where three languages are spoken (German, Italian, Ladin) and passes many famous resorts. With nearly 220 km of piste and 85 lifts, it is one of the largest ski areas in the Dolomiti-Superski area and furthermore offers a connection to the world-renowned Sella Ronda. Val di Fassa, where tourism is the biggest source of income, offers its guests, alongside a first class ski area, plenty to see and do such as diverse leisure activities encompassing sport and relaxation, tradition and culture, hospitality and obviously the great Trentino cuisine. Canazei - fantastic Dolomites! At the end of Val di Fassa, at the foot of the imposing Dolomite peaks, Sella Ronda (3.181 m), Marmolada (3.342 m) and the Sella Pass (2.240 m), is Canazei at 1,465 m. The resort forms a junction at the Dolomite Pass and is a winter sport metropolis, thanks to its location in the heart of the Dolomiti Superski region and the Sella Ronda. Canazei itself wins guests over with its two sides. One one side is the old, picturesque village centre with colourful house façades, and on the other is the lively nightlife with numerous restaurants, bars, clubs and live music for perfect apres ski.
