The approx. 150 km long Hallingdal is situated in the Buskerud district in Eastern Norway. The landscape is exceptionally diverse with numerous tributary valleys, crystal-clear lakes, extensive forests and wide, snow-covered slopes up to 2,000 m. The classic travel routes from Oslo in the south to the north-western fjords run right through the region.
