Ski Area Gstaad Mountain Rides
The "Gstaad Mountain Rides" lift pass offers you a total of 248 km of piste (see ski region). The included ski areas are easily accessible with a total of 61 lifts, and can also be reached with public transport. The various pistes lie at an altitude of between 1,000 – 3,000 m and are therefore pretty snow-sure. A total of 64 km of piste can be snow-covered by machines. The resort’s ski area Rougemont-Saanen-Gstaad and the Wasserngrat and Wispile areas in Gstaad itself provided over 90 km of piste and 19 lifts. With mainly easy pistes it is very well-suited to families. There are also special parks for the little ones to learn in. The Eggli - La Videmanette area is generally very beginner-friendly. However the descent down the valley to Rougemont, at 7 km in length and covering an altitude difference of 1,200 m, is the longest in the whole area and is therefore demanding. The so-called "Tigerrun" at Wasserngrat is the steepest piste in the region, so even the most advanced have to prove their skills!
