The Ambassador is built in the Swiss chalet style and offers incredible views of the imposing Matterhorn and distinguishes itself with perfect hospitality. The accommodation is furnished with lots of wood elements, simultaneously elegant and casual. It is located quietly yet centrally, and the complex is made up of 3 connected buildings with 60 hotel rooms and 32 apartments.

Located in the centre. Ski area / Gondola: Gornergratbahn lift 100 m Cross country trails: 1 km Ski bus (nearest stop): 100 m

Facilities
Reception, lounge, internet corner for a fee, free wifi, ski room, lift, parking spaces and garage in Täsch (8 km away) payable locally, half board restaurant, à la carte fondue restaurant, piano bar with regular live music. Listed facilities are found in the main building. Non-smoking accommodation.

Bath/shower, bathrobe/slippers available at reception, balcony or terrace, radio, telephone, cable TV, free wifi, free safe; kitchenette in living/sleeping area with 2- or 3-ring electric hob, cooking and eating utensils, coffee maker; separate double bedroom. 2-room apartment/4 beds: approx. 65m². 1 living/sleeping room with two roll-away beds/pull-out couch, bedroom with two sleeping facilities, small kitchen. 3-room apartment/6 beds: approx. 65m², same as 2-room apartment but with additional bedroom with two sleeping facilities, kitchenette.

Self-catering
Payable locally: Breakfast CHF 19.00/person/day, children from 0 to 3 years 100% price reduction; from 3 to 5 years 50% reduction, from 6 to 10 30% reduction. Half board: bookable and payable in resort: dinner CHF 60.00/person/day, children from 0 to 3 years 100% price reduction; from 3 to 5 years 50% reduction, from 6 to 10 30% reduction. Christmas and New Year's Eve dinners are included in the booking of half board. New Year's Eve gala dinner CHF 110.00/person (obligatory with HB); children from 0 to 3 years 100% price reduction; from 3 to 5 years 50% reduction, from 6 to 10 30% reduction.

Fitness/spa
Included: indoor pool (16 x 8 m), sauna (towels for sauna included). Opening hours as posted locally. Payable locally: massages.

Cot and high-chair available on request.

Additional services payable locally
Tourist tax CHF 2.10/night starting at age 6, children up to age 6 CHF1.05/night.

Attention: the swimming pool is closed until 20. December 2011.
