Ski holidays Winter Park - awakes the ski lover within!

Winter Park

Winter Park is located in Grand County, in the US state of Colorado. The resort lies at an altitude of 2,765 m and appears pleasantly natural. This idyllic mountain resort is great value for money and ensures that visitors have an unforgettable holiday! The Winter Park resort is the fourth largest in Colorado after Vail, Keystone and Snowmass. Surrounded by mountains looming up to four thousand metres, Winter Park does not lie directly on the Interstate-Highway 70, as it is nestled in sprawling Fraser Valley. Winter Park is a truly American resort, with cosy restaurants and atmospheric bars.

Winter Park-Denver

Winter Park in north central Colorado is located at an altitude of around 3,000 m. The ski region is especially popular because of its natural and extremely steep pistes, which are also a favourite with the US skiing team. Considered the “local mountain for Denver’s skiers”, Winter Park is situated only approx. 110 km from Colorado’s capital city. With an average yearly amount of snow reaching over 8 metres, this region is a popular winter sports destination. Further leisure activities in this region, alongside skiing, are ice-skating, dog-sled rides, snow-shoe hiking and snow-mobiling. In addition, you can enjoy your free time in a thermal bath, at the cinema or with a stroll around the shops.
