Ischgl in Tyrol’s Paznaun Valley is known for its lively party scene and varied entertainment throughout the winter. Highlights include the spectacular Top of the Mountain concerts in the town centre and on the Idalp. The official ski season started this winter on 30 November 2024. On the same day, pop superstar Ellie Goulding kicked off the season with her music! Ischgl events 2025 – concerts at least four times a year!

Up to four times per season, Ischgl invites international music stars to the village or the ski resort to offer winter sports guests from all over the world an exquisite programme off the slopes. For the ski opening in Ischgl in 2025, Ellie Goulding performed in front of 17,000 enthusiastic fans on stage in the valley at the Silvrettabahn on 30 November 2024. It was the perfect start to the ski season!

At Easter, at the start of spring and at the end of the season, the action will move to the Idalp at an altitude of 2,300 metres. On 20 April, reggae legend Shaggy will take to the stage here in Ischgl for his concert debut in the Paznaun Valley in 2025. Two weeks before the Top of the Mountain Easter Concert, however, Schlager superstar Andrea Berg will be warming up the guests in front of the stunning Tyrolean mountain backdrop at the start of spring (6 April 2025). And around the end of the season, on 3 May 2025, another après-ski concert will take place in Ischgl with the Grammy-nominated pop band OneRepublic!

Top of the Mountain Concert as a season highlight in Ischgl

A skiing holiday in Ischgl offers the Silvretta Arena, a first-class, cross-border ski area with 239 kilometres of slopes and a multi-award-winning après-ski scene. The Silvretta Therme Ischgl has been a real must-see off-piste for several years now. Here, winter sports enthusiasts can relax after a long day of skiing in several pools and a 1,500 m² sauna area. And in addition to an extensive range of massages, the spa area even has a cryotherapy chamber.

Admission to the Top of the Mountain Easter concert by Shaggy on Easter Sunday (20 April 2025) in Ischgl is included in the ski pass for that day. The reggae legend’s performance will begin at 1 p.m. on the Ischgl Stage. The organisers from Ischgl always book genuine global stars from the music scene for the Top of the Mountain concerts. Sir Elton John kicked things off in 1995 and is still the only musician to have performed in Tyrol twice, most recently in 2008. Other top acts to have performed against the winter backdrop include Katy Perry, the Beach Boys, Deep Purple, Mariah Carey, Robbie Williams, Rihanna, Sting and Rod Stewart.

How often do the Top of the Mountain concerts take place?

Between 1995 and 1998, only one Top of the Mountain concert took place in Ischgl each year. Since 1999, however, there have been several each year. Until 2002 there were two, and from 2003 to 2008 and from 2014 to 2019 there were three performances each year. Exceptions were the 2011/12 winter season with four concerts, and in the 2012/13 winter season there were even six performances in Ischgl. In 2020 and 2021, however, the Top of the Mountain concerts had to be cancelled completely due to the coronavirus. After a two-year pandemic break, the concert series resumed in 2022 with four performances by Sean Paul, George Ezra, Sido and Eros Ramazzotti. For the 2024/25 ski season, there was an additional “Top of the Mountain Special” with DJ duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
