Ski area Flumserberg

The lift pass "Flumserberg" gives you access to a total of 65 kilometres of piste and 21 lifts above lake Walensee. Here you ski on Heidi's trails as you enjoy the panoramic view of Heidiland. The pistes reach up to an altitude of 2,222 m and thus have a good guarantee of snow. In the lower area there are mostly blue pistes, and the little ones will enjoy the children's area. With approx. 17 km of black pistes, experienced skiers will find a couple of more challenging slopes.. Freestylers can let off steam in the two funparks at Prodkamm. A speciality for very experienced skiers is the Terza ski route: On 6 km it leads down to the valley and is not prepared. At Flumserberg you will also find a night toboggan run leading from Prodalp down to the Tannenheim valley station on 3 kilometres.

Night skiing Murg

Apart from night tobogganing at Flumserberg, night skiing is also available for young and old. Every Friday from 19:00 - 21:00, night owls in Heidiland can use the beautiful night ski piste at Tannenboden. The 4-person chairlift Chrüz takes you to the start of the illuminated blue piste No. 23, that leads down to the valley station as Piste No 20. The piste is illuminated on a total length of 1.5 km. It has an easy level of difficulty and leads down to an altitude of 1,400 m in soft curves. From Murg, winter sports fans can use the lfit access in Oberterzen to get to the night ski area. After the evening skiing fun, public transportation such as e.g. the post bus take you back to Murg.

Après ski Murg

Even though Flumserberg is a rather quiet, family-friendly ski area, there are several umbrella bars at the huts and in the valley that have good music and a great atmosphere for après ski in the afternoon. At Prodalp, at the start of the toboggan run, you can have a drink before for your sledge ride, and the umbrella bar at the valley station Tanneboden awaits you with a last glass before dinner. The quiet alternative for après ski in Murgtal is hiking. Various hiking paths for young and old surround Murg in picturesque Heidiland. On their hike through Murg Valley, hikers can explore the rare Spanish chestnuts when following the path "Kastanienweg". At Flumserberg there are dozens of hiking trails, some of which lead past the pistes and cross-country trails to mountain huts and observation points. At Maschgenkamm and Pardiel (nearby Bad Raganz), you can also find wonderful routes for snow shoe hikers.

For activities in bad weather, Murg has a tennis hall as well as public indoor pools in Flumserberg and Mels. In nearby Sargans, you can go ice skating and play ice hockey at Eispark, or visit the climbing hall.

Snowpark: The Real Park by Atomic Murg

The ski area Flumserberg offers 2 snowparks which are both located at the red pistes 2 and 4 at Prodkamm. The "Real Park by Atomic" is a full-blown snowpark for experienced boarders, that even has a big airbag. Several rails, boxes and kickers make up a good set-up. The "Family Snowpark" is suitable for children and grown-ups looking for a funslope. On a length of approx. 400 m, you can find various easy obstacles, gates and a wave trail prepared in boardercross-style, which rounds off the family-friendly set-up in the park.
