1. Jasn\u00e1 ski resort<\/h2>\n

The largest ski resort in Slovakia is the Jasn\u00e1 ski resort<\/a>. An impressive 44 kilometres of superbly prepared pistes await visitors here. There are also ski routes with a total length of 4 kilometres for adventurous skiers and snowboarders. The slopes can be reached easily and comfortably with a total of 32 lifts. The highest point of the resort is at an altitude of 2,024 metres. The ski area boasts a total of 19 kilometres of pistes, which are marked blue or green and are therefore ideal for beginners and children learning their first turns. Experienced winter sports enthusiasts can let off steam on the 18 red and 7 black kilometres of pistes. The varied slopes are located on the slopes of Mount Chopok, which is surrounded by a marvellous mountain panorama.<\/p>\n

Slovakia’s largest ski resort also has a lot to offer in addition to the excellently groomed pistes. For example, there are freeride zones where the adrenaline junkies among winter sports enthusiasts can enjoy the fresh powder.<\/p>\n

2. Vr\u00e1tna ski resort<\/h2>\n

Kilometres of slopes: 15 km<\/p>\n

Altitude: Up to 1,532 m<\/p>\n

With 15 kilometres of pistes, the Vr\u00e1tna ski resort is the second largest ski resort in Slovakia. It is located in the so-called \u017dilinsk\u00fd kraj and the highest point of the resort is 1,532 metres above sea level. The ski area is made up of several smaller Slovakian areas, which go by the names Polud\u0148ov\u00fd gr\u00fa\u0148, Paseky Prislop and Chleb. The slopes in the ski area offer beginners and children as well as advanced skiers and snowboarders the slopes with the optimal conditions for them. Those visiting the ski resort for the first time can look forward to the view of the beautiful valley called Vr\u00e1tna dolina, which incidentally makes an excellent photo opportunity.<\/p>\n
