One of the Chinese skiing areas is Beidahu. The ski area is located in the north of the country, in Jilin to be precise. It has a good infrastructure and a total of 10 ski lifts. Winter sports fans can let off steam along 11 kilometres of pistes. Cross-country skiers are also well taken care of here. A total of 10 km of cross-country trails are prepared for visitors. 2. Ideal Infrastructure<\/h2>\n

Beidahu is considered the best developed ski area in China and has one of the steepest runs in the country. The area covers a total of 17.5 square kilometres. The largest elevation of the ski area, Nanlou Mountain, reaches a height of 1,404 metres. The steepest piste reaches a gradient of 32 degrees. Beidahu offers good opportunities not only for fans of alpine skiing: for example, the ski area offers training facilities for biathletes, ski jumpers, free skiers and cross-country skiers. For the preparation of the pistes, there are about 40 snow cannons available. These ensure the best winter sports conditions on the slopes.
