The IKUNA Nature Resort is the most unique 4-star tipi hotel in Europe. The two-storey tipis with a characteristic Native American style are sure to leave a lasting impression on the whole family. For all those who value wellness quite highly in addition to skiing, the AQUA DOME in L\u00e4ngenfeld<\/a> will make your spa dreams come true over an area of more than 50,000 square metres. The AQUA DOME is one of the best spa hotels in Austria and pampers with a variety of bathing, wellness and sports offers.<\/p>\n

The S\u00f6lden<\/a> ski area is about 14 km away. There are 144 kilometres of pistes here for skiing and snowboarding.<\/p>\n

Prison Suite in the Erlebnis Post Hotel in Spittal an der Drau (Austria)<\/h2>\n

Those who want to experience the complete opposite of freedom on the piste can be locked in a “prison suite”. Through the feed hatch of your room, guests receive a welcome prosecco. The courtyard corridor is used to relax together in the spa area. The Kristallh\u00fctte in Zillertal’s Kaltenbach<\/a> has managed to combine the cosiness of an inn, the luxuriousness of a luxury hotel and the class of a trendy meeting place. Modern architecture with large windows make a holiday at the summit perfect.<\/p>\n

As soon as you leave the house, you are already in the middle of the piste. This gives you the chance to be the first to make your tracks in the snow in the morning.<\/p>\n

Almdorf in Patergassen near Bad Kleinkirchheim (Germany)<\/h2>\n

The Almdorf consists of various regionally-authentic huts with lots of comfort. It is possible to choose the right hut from different styles. For example, the treehouse with drawbridge, panoramic window and magnificent valley view is available, or the hunting lodge with open fireplace and stove from grandma’s time.<\/p>\n

The entrance to the Bad Kleinkirchheim<\/a> ski area, with its 103 kilometres of pistes, is just 6 km away.<\/p>\n

Schneekarh\u00fctte in Hippach (Austria)<\/h2>\n

In the middle of the piste, the pyramid and tower at 2,250 m catch your eye from afar. In addition to extravagant architecture, an overnight stay also includes a 5-course gala menu and a gourmet breakfast the next morning. At this altitude, guests enjoy the silence and the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets after the skiing hustle and bustle.

Barin Ski Resort in Shemshak (Iran)<\/h2>\n

If a night in an igloo is too cold and uncomfortable, you can still have a similar experience at the Barin Ski Resort in Iran. The rooms look like white caves with soft shapes and cuts. The accommodation also looks unique from the outside: Freestanding, flexible structures are designed to make the white building one with the snow-covered mountains.<\/p>\n

It is about 7 km from Barin Ski Resort to the ski area.<\/p>\n

The North Slope Hotel (in planning)<\/h2>\n

This accommodation is currently still in the planning stage. The hotel’s energy is to be produced primarily by wind and sun, through 8 vertically-oriented wind turbines on the roof and flexible photovoltaic cells on the south side of the building. In addition, guests will produce green electricity when they pedal on the exercise machines in the gym. To use the 122-metre ski slope located on the north side for skiing, guests simply need to take the lift to the roof. Thanks to an artificial surface, the slope can be skied even in summer without snow. At the same time, it serves to collect rain and melt water, which is to be collected and treated.<\/p>\n
