Ski area Zell am See-Kaprun

With the "Zell am See-Kaprun" lift pass, you have access to 138 kilometres of piste and 50 modern lifts in the Schmittenhöhe and Maiskogel ski areas, as well as the glacier ski area on Kitzsteinhorn, which stretches up to 3,029 m. The free ski bus brings you comfortably from Maishofen to the lifts in Zell am See. From there you can quickly reach the ski area with the CityXpress, the TrassXpress or the Schmittenhöhe lift. Both beginners and experts will feel right at home here: the Maiskogel ski area is especially suitable for families, with its large number of wide and blue pistes. At 7 km in length, the region's longest run is found at the Maiskogelköpfel lift. The Kitzsteinhorn (3,203 m) ensures absolute snow security and entices beginners and leisurely skiers in particularly with its intermediate pistes. Experts are drawn to the Schmittenhöhe (2,000 m), where the 4 km long descent is known as the most difficult in the entire ski area. Free riders will have a blast on the free ski territory under the Sonnkogel lift. Each of the three ski areas offers a fun park with tables, slides and jumps for free stylers! With the Salzburg Super Ski Card, you even have access to over 2,200 kilometres of piste in 23 ski regions, e.g. the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang ski circus, the Kitzbühel ski region or the Salzburger Sportwelt.

Après ski Maishofen

Apres ski is top in Zell am See. A variety of cosy lodges and snack stations are a big draw during the ski day. Especially recommendable are the apres ski bar "Schnaps-Hans" on Schmittenhöhe or the rustic-cosy "Pinzgauer Hütte". Numerous apres ski bars, pubs and discos in Zell am See invite you in to party. In bars and clubs such as "Karambar", "Crazy Daisy" or "Diele", night will definitely be turned into day. Many other activities round off the programme, such as tobogganing (day and night), ice skating, cross-country skiing or visiting the pool complex with sauna. If you want to go above and beyond, you can go skydiving, glide over the region via hang glider or enjoy the view with a glider. A stroll through the pedestrian zone, with its shops and cafes, offers even more variety. A day trip to Saalbach-Hinterglemm shouldn't be missing from your apres ski agenda!
