Ski area Falkert - Heidi Alm
Patergassen is the ideal starting point for skiers and their families. The small but beautiful "Falkert - Heidi Alm" ski area with 11 kilometres of pistes, 3 km of ski routes and a total of 3 lifts is located in the immediate vicinity. The manageable ski area is located at an altitude of 1,800 to 2,300 metres and therefore offers guaranteed snow. The Heidi Alm has plenty to offer families in particular with its spacious Kinderland.
The ski areas around St. Oswald and Bad Kleinkirchheim as well as the "Turracher Höhe" ski area can be reached in a maximum of 20 minutes by car and together offer more than 150 kilometres of pistes.
The "Turracher Höhe" ski area offers a total of 42 kilometres of pistes - served by 18 lifts. The family-friendly, clearly laid out ski area impresses with its range of services: For example, there is a piste butler who provides winter sports enthusiasts with a glass of Prosecco - and the little ones with sweet treats. Free deckchairs invite you to relax at the most beautiful spots in the ski area. And if it gets too cold and you want to warm up, you should visit the "living room" at the Kornockbahn valley station, where you can watch the latest major sporting events on a big screen. This makes the Turracher Höhe, situated between Carinthia and Styria, an ideal ski area for leisure skiers and families.
The "TopSkiPass Carinthia and East Tyrol" allows you to go ski area hopping during your holiday: It is valid in a total of 31 ski areas in Carinthia and East Tyrol (see ski region).

Night skiing Patergassen
On the Falkert, you can also ski down the piste in the evening in February! Then the ski area invites you to night skiing by floodlight at the Sonnlift, every Tuesday from 19:30 to 21:30. The offer is free of charge for all Falkert guests.Après ski Patergassen
Patergassen is a tranquil place where you can relax and unwind after a successful day's skiing.
If you fancy the spa, we recommend the two thermal spas "Römerbad" and "St. Kathrein" in Bad Kleinkirchheim, just 10 minutes away by car. There and in St. Oswald there is also a wide choice of restaurants.
Weather permitting, you can also enjoy ice skating, curling and ice hockey on the frozen Falkertsee lake.
Don't miss the opportunity to explore some of Carinthia's lakes and towns, such as Lake Millstätter See, which is only around 30 minutes away by car, or Villach and Klagenfurth am Wörthersee, which are around 45 minutes away by car.

Snowpark: Heidialm Skipark Patergassen
The snow park in the Falkert - Heidi Alm ski area is very family- and beginner-friendly. There are attractions for little skiers such as the children's snowland and Heidi's 8-person run with banked turns and wave track. Ambitious ski freestylers, on the other hand, can let off steam in the ski park on various obstacles or indulge in the thrill of speed on a permanent race track.
