Christian Neureuther - Christian's family tips

Our Trexpert Christian Neureuther is a 13-time German Alpine skiing champion, 6-time World Cup winner in slalom and 2-time runner-up in the slalom World Cup.

When is a ski holiday considered suitable for families? From our point of view there are various factors to consider.
  • Ski area: There shouldn‘t be only just easy or difficult pistes. A good mixture of all levels of difficulty is important to cater for all desires and needs.
  • Accommodation: An accommodation directly on the piste is ideal for families, because taking a bus or car to the ski area, with all the equipment and the children is not much fun. Also you can just swing by the accommodation to take a break and warm up during the day.
  • Costs: A family holiday should be possible for all families, not only for those with enough money. Therefore it is wise to look out for high child reductions or for good value accommodations (e.g. apartments on self-catering basis).
