Austria

Austria is THE winter sports paradise in the Alps. Beginner, experts and pros alike can choose from a diverse selection of pistes. Kitzbühel, Ischgl, Sölden or Mayrhofen are the most popular destinations in Tyrol, which is also known as the "heart of the Alps". The neighbouring state Salzburger Land is also known for it's reliability for snow and guarantees skiers and snowboarders a brilliant winter holiday, which can be spent for instance in the newly created area union Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn.

France

How about a winter holiday in France? Spend a relaxing holiday with your family in Chamrousse. The large offer of mostly easy pistes is ideal for children and entice to enjoy some pleasure skiing. The largest ski region is the 3 Vallées with over 600 km of piste. The region unites the areas of the 3 valleys Courchevel, Méribel and Val Thorens/Les Menuires. Italy

Say YES to a winter holiday in Italy. On the sunny side of the Alps lies the popular region South Tyrol and offers a magnificent 1,200 km of piste with the skiable region under the name Dolomiti Superski". This ski area union includes 12 ski areas. Further, there is some great skiing fun to be found in the Trentino and Lombardia with the popular ski destinations Calvalese and Livigno.

Germany

The most well-known resorts in the Bavarian Alps include Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberstdorf and Berchtesgaden. Winter holidays in Germany are a great opportunity to go skiing for only a couple of days. Easy accessibility at the foot of the high Alpine areas make it possible. However, Germany also offers ski resorts outside the Alpine areas, such as at the Feldberg in the Black Forest.

Switzerland

Switzerland offers a range of 4,000 metre-peaks, which include for instance the world-famous mountain Matterhorn (4,478 m) with its ski area Zermatt, with 200 km of piste. Almost as popular is the triple-peak constellation Eiger (3,970 m), Mönch (4,107 m) and Jungfrau (4,158 m) in the Bernese Oberland. Extravagant winter vacation can be spent in Sankt Moritz with its ski area Corviglia, which is perfectly suited for experienced skiers.

Czech Republic

A multitude of pistes and cross-country trails can be found in the Czech Ore Mountains, the Giant Mountains and the Bohemian Forest. Further, many ski areas offers exciting toboggan runs and romantic winter hiking trails for exploring the fascinating landscape. Short waiting times at the lifts, hospitable locals and the great prices are the best basis for a relaxing winter holiday in the Czech Republic.

Poland

In the Carpathian and Sudete Mountains in Poland the possibilities are great for going skiing and snowboarding. Schreiberhau (Szklarska Poręba), Krummhübel (Karpacz) and Zakopane belong to the most well-known destinations in the Giant Mountains and the High Tatras. But not only skiing and snowboarding can be done in Poland. Easily accessible places, such as Wroclaw and Krakow invite you to spend some time indulging in culture and entertainment.

Slovakia

Only few people know, that in winter almost all regions in Slovakia offer winter sports facilities. Perfect infrastructure for a great ski holiday can be found in the ski areas in the Tatra and Fatra Mountains. At the end of the day, the many bars or restaurants offer perfect opportunities to relax with a good drink, or work your way through the selection of Slovakian specialities.
