Location

The modern 4-star superior Aktiv- & Spahotel Gutjahr is situated approximately 350 metres from the centre of Abtenau. Access to the ski area is via the "Karkogel" cable car, which is about 1.5 km away. For beginners, there is a practice lift about 500 m from the accommodation. Cross-country skiing opportunities are available on the nearby network of trails. You can also enjoy sporting activities on the toboggan run, approximately 1.5 km from the hotel. Ski buses stop right outside the hotel. Golling-Abtenau railway station is about 19 km away.

Facilities

The comfortable hotel features a reception, Wi-Fi, a lounge, 4 lifts, a breakfast room, an on-site restaurant and a hotel bar. You can store your winter sports equipment in a ski cellar. On-site parking and a charging station for electric cars (subject to a fee) are available – subject to availability.

Spa

The approximately 1,000 m² spa area invites you to relax. Here you will also find a sauna, panoramic sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and Kneipp facility. Inside the accommodation there is an indoor pool with massage jets. The solarium, beauty treatments and massages are available for a fee.

Children

High chairs and cots are included (on request/subject to availability).

Entertainment

An entertainment programme is organised on selected days of the week. In addition, the accommodation offers sports facilities such as a gym. Snowshoe walking courses are also offered at regular intervals.

Board

As part of the included half-board package, you will receive a welcome drink, a generous breakfast buffet with an organic section, and a 5-course set menu (with a choice of 3 main courses) with a salad buffet, as well as a cheese and ice cream buffet in the evening. For stays of 7 nights, coffee and cake are included in the holiday price once a week. Special dietary requirements, vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free dishes can be requested. The New Year’s Eve menu is also included in the holiday price.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• Active Family promotion: 07/03/2026 - 06/04/2026. When booking for 5 or more days, children born in 2010 or afterwards (ID required) receive a free multi-day ticket. The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket of 5 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
