Location

The modern 4-star Superior Aktiv- & Wellnesshotel Gutjahr hotel is situated approx. 350 m away from the centre of Abtenau. You can access the ski area by taking the Karkogelbahn gondola lift approx. 2 km away, or the Hornbahn cable car approx. 11,9 km away. Cross-country skiing trails are in close proximity. Ski buses stop right at the door. The Golling-Abtenau railway station can be reached after approx. 19 km.

Facilities

This hotel offers various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a common room, 4 lifts, a breakfast room, a hotel restaurant and a hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

The 1000 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul. Your accommodation features an indoor pool with massage jets. When it’s time to rest and recharge, visit a sauna, a panoramic sauna, a steam bath, an infrared cabin and a Kneipp basin complex. A solarium, beauty treatments as well as massages are available for a fee.

High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Entertainment

On certain days of the week guests can enjoy our entertainment programme. Other activities include a gym. Besides, you are welcome to join a snowshoeing class.

Board

As part of the half-board package included in the price, you will receive a welcome drink, a generous breakfast buffet with an organic section, and a 5-course set menu (with a choice of 3 main courses) with a salad bar, as well as a selection of cheeses and ice cream from the buffet in the evening. For stays of 7 nights, coffee and cake are included in the tour price once a week. Special dietary cuisine, vegetarian, lactose-free and gluten-free dishes can be requested. The New Year's Eve menu is also included in the tour price.

Important notes

• When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
• Active Family promotion: 07/03/2026 - 06/04/2026. When booking for 5 or more days, children born in 2010 or afterwards (ID required) receive a free multi-day ticket. The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket of 5 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
