Location and facilities

The spring 2017 renovated Alpenpension Gastein is situated in the quiet and idyllic area of Badbruck. The ski bus stops in approx. 200 m from the accommodation, the lifts Stubnerkogelbahn and Schlossalmbahn are to be reached in about 6 km. The access to the cross-country trail is in about 500 m.

The pension has a reception, a restaurant, a breakfast room, a bar, living room and a ski room, Wi-Fi and free of charge parking spaces (upon availability).

The spa area is situated in the side building and it includes sauna, infra red cabin, indoor swimming pool and relaxation room, just perfect to relax after a day out skiing (please see info in resort regarding opening hours).

All the guests receive in resort the Gastein Card, with several included services and reductions, like reduced entrance at Felsen- and Alpentherme, use of the buses and toboggan hire (please see info in resort, services are subject to change and reductions may vary).

Rooms

The rooms, which were renovated in 2018, are bright and individually furnished and are comprised of bathtub or shower/wc and hair dryer, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a seating area, some have a desk, tea and coffee maker, safe and balcony.

Board

Included in the holiday price is a rich regional breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu with choice of main dish for dinner. Christmas and New Year's Eve's dinners are also included in the packages. Vegetarian, lactose free and gluten free meals are also possible for a fee (on request).

Important notes

  • Children up to (and including) the age of 5 may use the lifts in the Gastein Valley for free. Should the child use the the lifts in other Ski amadé areas, a mini card (lift pass) has to be purchased in resort.
  • When booking rooms with multiple or additional beds, there is no claim to the additional beds
