Location

The modern 4-star GRAND Elisabeth hotel is situated directly in the centre of Bad Ischl. The centre of Bad Goisern deserves a visit, and is approx. 8,7 km away from the accommodation. The Katrin Seilbahn cable car, which is approx. 3,1 km away, will take you to the ski area.

Facilities

This hotel features various facilities, such as a reception, a lobby area, Wi-Fi, 3 lifts, a breakfast room, the Grande Liberté hotel restaurant and the Violet Hour hotel bar. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a lockable ski storage room. Drivers can use a parking lot (for a fee), a parking garage (for a fee) and a charging station for e-cars (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

Our 450 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul (opening hours: 12:00 - 21:00) and enjoy a sauna. Your accommodation features a 56 m² large indoor pool (07:00 - 21:00). Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being. Our staff provides guests with a bathrobe and bathing slippers on a loan basis. Opening hours of individual wellness facilities and validity periods are subject to change.

Children

Cots are provided for a fee, high chairs can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • Please note that access to the spa area after 17:00 is only permitted for guests aged 16 and over.
  • Active Family promotion: 07/03/2026 - 06/04/2026. When booking for 5 or more days, children born in 2010 or afterwards (ID required) receive a free multi-day ticket. The prerequisite is that at least one parent purchases a multi-day ticket of 5 days or more for the same period. If there are more children travelling with you than adults or if you do not meet the promotion requirements, a corresponding lift pass must be purchased on site.
