Location

The cosy 3-star Rauscher & Paracelsus hotel invites its guests to experience local flair approx. 100 m away from the centre of Bad Hofgastein. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Schlossalmbahn mountain railway approx. 1,5 km away. The thermal spa Alpentherme Gastein also offers a special wellness experience. Cross-country skiing trails can be reached within about 80 m. You can experience a rush of adrenaline on a well-prepared toboggan run approx. 2 km away from the hotel. Ski buses stop within about 50 m.

Facilities

The hotel features various amenities, such as a reception, Wi-Fi, a library, a common room, a lift and a breakfast room. Guests can store their ski and snowboarding equipment in a ski cellar. Drivers can use a parking lot and a parking garage (for a fee) - subject to availability.

Spa

The 120 m² large wellness area invites its guests to indulge body and soul. When it’s time to replenish your energy, you have a choice between different facilities including a Finnish sauna, a sanarium, a steam bath and an infrared cabin. Let the stress of everyday life dissipate in the relaxation room. Massages are available for a fee and help encourage an overall sense of well-being.

Children

The children's playroom offers a range of play experiences for young guests to keep them content and entertained. High chairs and cots can be used free of charge (upon request and availability).

Important notes

  • This accommodation is not wheelchair-accessible.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with extra beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
  • The accommodation consists of two buildings, the interconnected hotels Rauscher & Paracelsus.
  • Board is not included when booking the apartments. However, apartment guests can book breakfast on site (for a fee).
  • Children aged 5 or under can use the lift systems in the Gastein Valley free of charge. If your child uses the lifts in other ski areas of the Ski amadé independently, a minicard (lift pass) may have to be purchased on site.
  • If you have booked equipment through us, the ski hire shop is located in Bad Gastein (approx. 9 km).
