Bad Kleinkirchheim's motto "From the mountains to the thermal spa" is something you should definitely follow. Because so much revolves around wellness here that the town was named one of the first Alpine wellness resorts. The Römerbad thermal spa at the foot of the Imperial Castle is fed by mineral springs from the Nockberge mountains. Tired muscles are guaranteed to perk up again in the 34 degree warm, steaming water.
For those who prefer something a little more sporty, the mountains can be explored on snowshoes, horse-drawn sleighs or on one of the four toboggan runs. Ice skating rinks are available in the spa park and at the tennis centre, and you can try your hand at Bavarian curling in the sports arena. There are also 60 kilometres of winter hiking trails leading through the beautiful landscape.
Snowpark Bad Kleinkirchheim: Snowpark Bad Kleinkirchheim
It's not just the extensive ski area of Bad Kleinkirchheim that attracts winter sports enthusiasts, the snow park also offers freestylers everything their heart desires. The park, built by the largest European label "QParks", is located at the Nockalm cable car in a perfect sunny location. The division into beginner and medium areas also offers those who have not yet dared to try out the scene the opportunity to get to know it. The park's own t-bar lift ensures that no time is lost.
Various boxes, rails, tubes and kickers up to 10 metres are available. This literal paradise for all freestylers is constantly kept in shape by an experienced shape crew.
In addition, there is a kids' slope in the ski area (next to the Sonnleiten lift in St. Oswald), which can be used optimally by both the youngest and older siblings.
